CIMA and TIMSR Partner to Offer CGMA Finance Leadership Program for Master of Management Studies (Finance) Students

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) has recently collaborated with the Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) located in Mumbai, to offer the CGMA Finance Leadership Program to students enrolled in its Master of Management Studies (Finance). The program, developed in partnership with the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, provides students with an online learning platform to enhance their finance skills and complete the CGMA Professional Qualification, earning them the CGMA designation.

Bhaskar Ranjan Das, Director, South Asia, at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, expressed his pleasure in partnering with TIMSR to promote the CGMA Finance Leadership Program. As per the agreement between the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR), students pursuing a Master of Management Studies (Finance) program at TIMSR will be able to access the CGMA Finance Leadership Program. This program will allow students to begin their CIMA journey while studying at TIMSR, receive exemptions, and commence their CIMA studies at the Management Level, leveraging their prior educational achievements, credentials, and practical experience. The partnership also offers TIMSR students the opportunity to join the CGMA Finance Leadership Program at a discounted fee for two years.

 Upon completion of the program and meeting the practical experience requirements, students will be eligible for CIMA membership at either the ACMA or FCMA level and will earn the highly esteemed CGMA designation, which will help them advance their careers. The CGMA designation is in high demand among leading companies and offers a fulfilling career path, contributing to both national and global economies.
